In July, Sara Jane and Caroline asked me to take pictures of them just for fun. It was a first for all of us as I had never done a photo shoot with more than one person and it was their first time doing a "modeling" photo shoot. They did so well that it was hard to narrow down my favorites!

I graduated!
Wow - a whole semester has passed since my last post! A lot has happened since then too. I don't have time to update on everything that occurred these last five months but I do want to post a few pictures from my graduation on December 17, 2009.
Many thanks to Jessica for taking most of these pictures!
I was put on the JumboTron because the top of my hat was decorated. It said "HOLA." :)
Shaking President Barker's hand.
Happy to have my diploma!
Can you find me?
Mi familia. :)
Thanks, Mom & Dad!
My brothers...
and sisters. How I love them!
Showing off my "HOLA" and JT being a creeper. Haha!
I graduated with one of my good friends, Laura H. She and I had a joint graduation party after the ceremony and it was so much fun! Our fathers blessed us and gave us some pieces of wisdom to send us on our way into the working world.
Hurray for being done with college!!
I'm going to try and blog frequently now that I don't have projects or home work. I have loads of photo shoots to post as well so check back very soon to see them!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Update
July 11
Jessica returned from Ethiopia! It's so good having her back. :-)
July 15
Lunch with Cara! Cara and I met at LeaderShape this year and really connected. We hadn't seen each other most of the summer so we ended up talking at this restaurant for 3 hours!
Fountain Fun with some of the youth group. Since Wednesday Night Prayer group was cancelled in attempts to prevent furthering the spread of swine flu, a group of us "healthy" ones went to Sonic and then played in the fountains.
July 16
Lunch with Laura Catherine! We had a picnic in the
botanical gardens. I always have a great time with that girl.
Photo shoot with Lizzy! Lizzy asked me to take some pictures of her to be used on the RUF website. She's going to be the new RUF intern at UNC Chapel Hill and what a great intern she'll be!
Just a few of my favorites...
I don't have time to blog about last week but I'll get to that as soon as I can. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Weekend Fun!
Every year on Cow Appreciation Day Chick-fil-A gives out free combos to anyone who dresses like a cow. I thought it'd be a fun youth group activity so I rounded up a heard to go together. Below are some pictures of the event.
Secret Beach Bonfire
Friday evening we had a relaxing bonfire on Secret Beach. My favorite part of the evening was playing with my camera taking pictures with long exposures trying to write out names with fire sticks. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the night:
Saturday (July 11) - Jessica's Back!
Jessica arrived safe and sound from Ethiopia on Saturday evening. It's great to have her back! She told us many stories over dinner about Ethiopia and then we ended the evening by watching Confessions of a Shopaholic. Jessica must have been really tired because she fell asleep half way through the movie. She rarely falls asleep during movies!
Saturday was also my dad's birthday. Happy birthday, Daddy!
Sunday (July 12) - Church
I went to church with the family. Stephen Speaks preached on Hebrews 12: 25-29. After the service, a group of us went to eat lunch at the new Mexican restaurant El Jimador (where the old Donut Connection used to be). I went to Jr. and Sr. High tonight and in between enjoyed eating some home made ice cream at the church's monthly Ice Cream Social. After Sr. High, a group of us went Wendy's and had a fun time talking and hanging out.
Bottom line: This was a very fun weekend!
